This past weekend my husband and I were brainstorming ideas on how to fill our weekend. After going back and forth, we decided we both needed a stress-free night in. At that point, we ran into an entirely different issue; what should we watch on a Friday night? From my past experience the movie selection on Friday nights is abysmal at best. So we ran the channels until we came across "Casablanca." I'd never seen it before (shameful, I know) so we sank in for the night and we enjoyed the 1942 movie classic.

I was so pleasantly surprised, and that got me thinking, why don't we try and watch the top 100 movies of all time? I mentioned it to my husband and he was on board. So now our goal is to watch all 100 movies on AFI's Top 100 American films in the last 100 years (there's actually 124 films on the list. Weird, I know). We did an initial inventory and as of this week, I've seen 26 of the movies and my husband has seen 58, so we have a lot of movie watching ahead of us!
Now all I have to figure out are some good movie-watching recipes that we can munch on and we'll be in business!
How many movies on the list have you seen?
Thanks for reading.
