I'll be the first to admit, when it comes to my wardrobe I'm not very adventurous. But I'd like to be. If I were to step outside my "comfort zone," one of the trends I'd love to try is mixing the unexpected: stripes and prints, a full "party" skirt paired with a t-shirt or a boomer jacket and evening gown. Most of the time the juxtaposition of the extremes is so eye-catching it leaves me questioning if I love the look or hate it all together, but I am almost always intrigued.
Right now, I'm loving this look in particular. The laid back casual of the sweater next to tuxedo stripe jeans and a cross-body bag with boots. It seems almost androgynous until you notice it's all topped off with the girlish charm of sweet bow. Plus it screams fall and who isn't ready to transition to football, campfires and comfy sweaters?
