I'm losing my hair
not from stress
not from excessive shampooing:
I'm losing my hair because I had a baby!
I wasn't warned (or maybe I just didn't listen) but it's falling out.
I know it's common - but it's weird
My hair dresser says it's normal and I'll just have to wait until my hormones are in check - It will grow back but until then my hair line and hair texture will probably continue to change. I've tried some different shampoos and nothing seems to help.
And not only is it falling out - it's dry.
You might be thinking, well back off on the heat but I don't really do my hair all that often. I'm a low key type of gal - a bun can work wonders when you're running late for work (which is everyday for me).
For all you mommas out there - please help!
In an attempt to fight nature I got my hair done this past weekend. Here's the new do.
Disclosure - I had it styled for a wedding I was going to that night.
In other news - I'm looking for some bloggers to do a button swap. Please let me know if you'd be interested.
Be
blessed,
Brittany

Looks adorable! I've been losing mine like crazy too. Makes me sad every time I take a shower and see it in the drain.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jamie - I'm sorry you're going through the same thing, no fun.
DeleteOh no! I bet that's just crazy - and kinda makes you want to rip your hair out! Ha! ;) Hope it all balances out soon!!
ReplyDeleteHey Bert. I know it's a little different, but you know when I was losing weight, the doctor told me to make sure I took B vitamins. I was really upset that my hair was falling out and that is what she recommended. I know it's a little different, but it could just help. Love ya and sorry to hear its happening to you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome suggestion - I'll have to look into that. Thanks D!
