How to Fold a Fitted Sheet

If you've ever made a bed then you know, one of life's most frustrating challenges is folding a fitted sheet. I would sooner buy an entirely new set of sheets than try to tackle a fitted sheet. I just hate it. I intentionally wash my sheets on a weekend morning just so that I can make the bed at night and avoid folding the sheets altogether. That is until I learned how to properly fold them and now I hate it slightly less because honestly who loves folding anything at all?

So because I'm kind, I've created this simple guide to help you hate it a little less as well.

Be Blessed,
Brittany

  1. I totally agree, I hate folding clothes and put off laundry because of it. But this guide is so helpful, and SO much easier than the other ones I've seen. Thanks for posting!

    1. I put off laundry because of it too! I thought I was the only one! I'm glad this is helpful, feel free to reach out if you have any issues, but this method works great for me.

  2. OMG I'm pinning this because I usually just end up rolling it around in my arms and shoving it under the other sheets. Grrr. Hate fitted sheets.

  4. Ha! I'm with Kristin. I roll the sheet around in my arms a couple of times, until it is a small size, then shove it in the closet. I'll try this next time!

    1. I've experienced the arm-roll a couple times myself. This way at least it looks "folded"

  5. This is awesome! If I wasn't so tired I'd try this out right now, instead I'll wait till tomorrow and then try it out on all my sheets that are currently all wadded up in a big mess.

    1. Oh no Jess, I'm sure that's not the case!
I'll admit, even knowing how to fold them I have to give up trying to achieve "perfection." The key really is - don't try to make every corner and fold perfect - somehow it comes out looking better.
