A beautifully written children's book, Only God Can Make a Kitten by Rhonda Gowler Green and Illustrated by Laura J. Bryant, explains that the world's natural wonders, like the trees and rain, are all special gifts that only God can provide. The story is articulated in a simple and poetic fashion so that children of almost all ages can quickly understand the message. Reading this lovely book allows children to build their faith knowledge and captivate their love of reading.

I absolutely loved this book and so does my son! The amazing story paired with the sweet, child-friendly illustrations captivate us each time we read it. Laced throughout each page of the story you learn of God's beautiful vision by highlighting his wondrous creations. Before reading it, I thought the story would be aimed more at little girls but it's truly a story with universal reach. My little guy loves to read and this quickly became a bedtime favorite. We read it daily and since he's become familiar with it we often go outside and I'll ask him, "only who can make a flower?" He's learned from the book that only God can make the flowers and he's quick to respond and share that new-found knowledge. I highly recommend this faith-based book for your toddlers and littles.

BookLook Bloggers provided me with a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review.

I'm always looking for great faith-based book suggestions - please share if you have any personal favorites.

Be Blessed,
Brittany
