There's a time to...(Meet Sharlee)

I'm so excited to introduce you to my friend Sharlee from the blog, "Believing in Something." I started following her blog awhile ago and I was captivated by her insightful and thought-provoking posts. I reached out to Sharlee and we've quickly developed a blog-friendship. This faithful and courageous women has encouraged and mentored me and I hope that you to find her words as inspiring as I do.

Here's a little taste of what Sharlee's all about:

How long have you been blogging and why did you get into it?
I have actually been blogging for over 4 years. I originally started to have a voice about education. Over time it slowly evolved into a lifestyle blog. Now I blog because I love it...I love writing. I have learned so much about myself through blogging whether it's through my own posts or reading someone else's.

What are the last three songs you listened to?
I honestly have no I'll tell you my favorites right now:
-"Next to Me" by Emeli Sande
-"Baby You a Song" Florida Geogria Line (My husband HATES that song)
-"Rock Me Mama" Darius Rucker (no reason other than it's super catchy--I only know the chorus)
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go? This is a really hard question. Right now I'll go with Tahiti. No educational/cultural reasons. I just want some sun and a little over the water bungalow room. That sounds about perfect.

Salty or Sweet?
I have a MAJOR sweet tooth so definitely sweets. I could probably never have a salty treat again and be completely fine. But I love salty sweets...chocolate covered potato chips? My favorite.

What’s your favorite quote?
I have many "favorites"--I collect quotes. Today I chose a scripture from Ecclesiastes 3: There is a time and season to every purpose under heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance...I love the entire portion of this, but I will leave it at this. You could discuss and dissect these verses forever and never run out of ways to liken them to various aspects of our lives. There is such truth within those verses.

Describe one of your guilty pleasures.
Guilty pleasures? Enjoying unproductive moments. Oh how I enjoy sunbathing, watching Netflix with my husband, and naps!

Tell me about one blessing in your life.
My "go to" answer these days seems to be my marriage and while I think it is one major blessing in my life, but today I'd like to recognize a blessing that impacts everything, including my marriage. My mom being the one to raise me and the way she raised me continues to impact my life every minute. I was LOVED and LIKED so much by my mom. The power of that still carries over in my life today.
