The Magic of Makeup?

Wedding-centered subjects are going to dominate a majority of my posts for the next 50+ days. That being said I think the goal of most brides is to look stunning on their wedding day, and mine is no different. I've met with a make-up artist and hair stylists and a alterationist and just about every type of person you can consult in order to improve your look. My ultimate goal is to look like the best version of myself. I don't want to look overly made-up to the point that I look different-I just want to accentuate my current assets.
So in my quest to look like the best version of myself I ran into the issue of eyelashes. Mine are very fair, blond and slightly short, so I looked into several options: extensions, falsies and finally Latisse. My final choice: Latisse.
I know most of you have seen the commercials and I personally never thought anything of it until my makeup artist for the wedding said what great success she had with it. I asked about the side effects and she said the darkening of the eye really only happens on people that have darker complexions. She said that it takes about 2 months to start seeing results. I'm about 2 months away from the wedding now so I'm hoping to be one of the few that see results early or at least on time.

But because I, as a consumer was skeptical of the results, I decided to document my journey. So please don't mind the makeup-less eyes and face, here is what I'm starting  with:

I'll check back in before the wedding and let you know how the lashes are looking and again in the summer for a picture of the full results. Keep your fingers crossed that my lashes look great by April 30th!
